Kentucky Headhunters Back on the Road with Brand New Music

Known for hits like ‘Walk Softly on this Heart of Mine’,  Dumas Walker’ and ‘Oh, Lonesome Me’, the Kentucky Headhunters are giants and legends in the southern rock and country music worlds.  Fans haven’t seen a new album since 2018 when the  ‘Dixie Fried-The Best of the Mercury Years’, two-CD set was released.

The Kentucky Headhunters might have had to pause their touring last year due to a pandemic, but they are back in full force.  Not only with a solid concert presence but with an upcoming new album  as well. The wait is now over…That’s a fact, Jack!

The upcoming album, ‘That’s a Fact Jack’ , will be available soon to stream/download. Fact is, the song, ‘How Could I’, is being released  today.   Another fact is the title track will drop October 8th. These two singles  from the Headhunters latest project will keep fans entertained  while waiting for the full album to be available on October 22nd.

‘How Could I’ is an attention grabbing sound,  from the first  guitar note. Drums and keyboards add to the traditional sounds we love and expect from the Kentucky Headhunters. Strong lyrics are in place as well, telling how pride can overtake emotions and words, leaving us in a state of regret and disappointment.

A festive holiday tune ends the album in a fun way. ‘Let’s All Get Together and Fight’ paints the story many can relate to at one family get-together or another.

‘How Could I’ and ‘Lonely Too Long’ are two more songs from the band that will be added to my southern rock  playlist next month.  If you are like me and don’t want to wait,  you too can pre-order your copy of the 12-track album here.
