Right on the heels of the announcement of Mr. Kenny Rogers’ retirement, a new album was announced. It has been 17 years since his last Christmas-themed album.

While the album was released at the end of September, I have just now started listening to Christmas music this season. I now wish I would have begun listening sooner, as this album really sets the mood for the Christmas season.
‘Once Again Its’ Christmas’ is a well-mixed collection of duets, Christmas staples and a few new tunes. Featuring amazing duets with some other great names in country music, such as Jennifer Nettles, Alison Krauss and A cappella group ‘Home Free’, this latest, and likely last album from Kenny Rogers is a must-have for all fans!
A well-rounded, 11-track album, ‘Once Again it’s Christmas’ can really set the scene for Christmas cheer.
Check out the video of ‘Children, Go Where I Send Thee’, the song featuring Home Free. In just three days of being posted on YouTube, the video has been viewed over 100,000 times.
If you are like me and usually don’t start the Christmas celebration until after Thanksgiving, cut yourself some slack and check out this Christmas album-You will be glad you did!
Excellent album. I especially like the collaboration with Home Free on “Children, Go Where I Send Thee”. The video is available on youtube.
